See Fuel Economy Results of the International S13 Engine

For more than 12 months, Maxim Truck & Trailer put a group of trucks with the S13 engine and powertrain on the road and had them tested in real world conditions. More than 43 different fleets in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Northwestern Ontario have taken part in these trials – lasting days, weeks, months and in one case a full year test drive.

We get it. It’s a new powertrain so hearing about it doesn’t compare to driving it and really testing it in real world conditions. Our demo S13 units have travelled over almost 500,000 Kms in east/west and north/south routes hauling a variety of freight.

Fleets Who’ve Tested Our International S13 Demos

In Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Northwestern Ontario, we’ve had over 43 fleets trial our S13 demo units. The demo trucks travelled typical east/west and north/south routes under real-world conditions. Data was collected via Geotab. The results are in, and they show industry-leading fuel economy for the International S13.
