End dump trailers offer a variety of advantages as far as dump trailers go. They have been the most common dump trailers for many years - used in construction, road building as well as agriculture. End dumps typically have higher sides than other dump trailers allowing them to carry more volume. Their versatility allows them to be used to haul a wide variety of materials including rocks, gravel, soil, sand, asphalt, demolition debris and even semi-liquid materials.

- Weight Savings: You save 424 Lbs. using standard 4mm AR450 over a square box end dump that comes standard with 3/16” AR200 steel floor and 12-10 Gauge steel for side walls. With tub-style end dumps, there is no need for vertical support ribs, saving even more weight.
- Tub Material: The tub-style dumps use standard continuous 4mm AR450 on Wall/Floor/Wall tub body
- Cleanout: The tub-style dumps have 20-inch Radius corners for smooth cleanout. This eliminates leftover debris that can be found in the corners of a square-style box.
Tub Style Trailer Pros:
- 424 lbs. lighter in body
- Standard continuous 4mm AR450 on Wall/Floor/Wall tub body

Tub Style Trailer Cons:
- Impacts from heavier materials like rocks and gravel can show a lot more in a tub style
- Cleaning out with a backhoe is not recommended because your chances of scraping the floor are greater because of the increased radiance.
SQUARE BOX:
- Box Material: Standard 3/16” AR200 Floor, 10-gauge steel lower wall, 12-gauge steel upper wall. Customers can customize floor, wall thicknesses individually to their liking or add a liner to just the floor which cannot be achieved with a tub-style dump.
- Cleanout: 9” Radius corners make for a smoother cleanout; and the ability to clean out any leftover debris using an excavator which is not recommended with the tub style.
- Impact Resistance: Square box design is built in three pieces allowing for customized wall and floor material/thickness up to ¼” AR450. The square box also has a full-length 12-gauge side rib for even greater sidewall strength and durability.
