Now in its 24rd year, Maxim Truck & Trailer hosted its annual Charity Pancake Breakfast fundraiser at its head office in Winnipeg on December 5th, raising an impressive $37,150 for the Christmas Cheer Board of Winnipeg - the highest amount ever raised at a Maxim December fundraiser for the Christmas Cheer Board.
More than 350 guests, including Maxim employees, attended the event, enjoying great food, camaraderie, and a variety of raffle prizes at Maxim’s head office dealership.
“We believe it’s important for our company to foster a culture of giving back,” said Troy Hamilton, President of Maxim Truck & Trailer. The funds raised came from a combination of corporate donations, contributions from employees, customers, suppliers, and friends, all of whom helped make the event a resounding success.
“We are incredibly grateful to Maxim for their generosity. They have been a tremendous supporter of the Cheer Board for many years,” said Shawna Bell, Executive Director of the Christmas Cheer Board of Winnipeg.
The Christmas Cheer Board provides essential support to low-income seniors, individuals living with disabilities, newcomers to Canada, and families in need throughout Winnipeg. Each year, the organization distributes over 16,000 hampers to those facing financial hardship.
