Thank you very much to everyone who attended, volunteered at, and donated to Maxim’s 2019 Charity BBQ on May 23rd! Thanks to all of your support we raised $28,600 for charity in two hours. Nearly 600 Maxim employees, friends, family, customers, partners, and suppliers turned up to eat lunch, listen to some live music, and put their tickets in for the chance to win raffle prizes or the 50/50 draw. Over 80 employees volunteered a little (or a lot) of their time to help make this event possible.
This money raised will go to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation through their Challenge for Life Campaign, as part of our total amount raised for Team Maxim. Maxim currently havs 36 walkers and 26 volunteers on Team Maxim who are participating in the Challenge for Life event on June 8 in Winnipeg.
